Animation & Digital Design
Animation has become an integral part of the design process for some modern architectural firms. Architectural design is a delicate balancing act between maintaining a reasonable budget and creating a piece of art that fulfills the client’s needs; this is a balance that our firm has successfully managed for nearly 50 years.
Historically, this visualizing process involved hand-drawn renderings of each building design. This artwork would usually represent a three-dimensional view of a building from a select few angles flattened down onto a two-dimension surface. Making changes would be difficult, if not impossible, and would need to be completely “re-rendered” again by the artist.
With the advancement of technology, this process is now assisted by our use of animations to showcase past, present, and potential future projects. We are now able to present our clients with a more comprehensive, well-rounded view of our designs, inside and out. When changes arise, the previous model can be easily modified within the digital program, in real time if necessary. This reduces much of the waste once experienced with the use of hand-drawn renderings.
These animations allow us to showcase the many facets of design that our firm is capable of, from designing warehouse buildings to state-of-the-art facilities. We believe in meeting and exceeding your expectations as an architectural firm.
